Girl power will be in full effect this April as Pacific FC launches a first-time female led program for U-11 through U-14 girls. The five-week program based at PISE will be highly female led and guest speakers with a program focus on technical, speed, agility, and the psycho-social aspects of the game.
“This program aims to elevate the growth and excitement of the female game in Victoria and create opportunities for an elite level training environment for younger ages encouraging the development of various aspects of football and character growth,” said Jodi Grant, Development Program Lead, Pacific FC. “What I see for the future of the women's game are endless opportunities.”
The Pacific FC Female Youth Development Program was developed to meet the need of the growing number of girls in soccer.
“We wanted to create a space where females, excited about their future path in the game, grow with like-minded females at an elite level, while having female coaches and role models to lead them on their journey,” said Grant.
