Since its inception in 2019, Pacific FC mission has been to develop local players and provide a pathway to professional opportunities for members of Vancouver Island's soccer community. Powered By Pacific FC programs train and develop over 800 young people on an annual basis. 

At the grassroots level, Trident Development Programs support the development of youth ages 7-16, with year-round soccer training sessions at three locations across Vancouver Island. Experienced, certified coaches develop youth athletes through technical training and small-sided games using the Pacific FC philosophy and game model. The Trident Development Programs offer an internal pathway and player identification process for the Van Isle Wave high performance program.

With a focus on developing world class players and people, the Van Isle Wave Program provides a professional pathway for youth players with the potential to become a homegrown player for Pacific Football Club, other professional clubs and those seeking post secondary opportunities. Van Isle Wave Program features five age groups for U14-U18 boys and girls to compete in the BC Soccer Premier League, the highest level of youth soccer in BC.

Pacific FC has a proven track record of developing local talent and providing professional opportunities for players who have progressed through the Powered By Pacific FC youth programs. Five Van Isle Wave athletes have received professional contracts with the first team, with over 40 Van Isle Wave graduates earning post-secondary scholarships in North America. Through Pacific FC partnership with Bundesliga club, VfL Bochum, select athletes have been invited to compete in overseas trials and earn opportunities to sign internationally.

Powered By Pacific FC programs provide a direct pathway for youth athletes to sign professional contracts and utilize their connections to earn post-secondary scholarships to continue developing their skills at a higher level.
